excellent, we need an advanced course for this outstanding topic and its application on teaching and cognitive sciences
So far it has been great but I made the mistake of enrolling in it since it's too advanced for me

•I am an hipanic linguistic graduate student and I have never studied this topic until now. It is fascinating. I learned more than I thought I was about to learn and now that I have knowleadge in this subject I want to study more and more. I hope one day I can meet this amazing team of lexical investigators and maybe join you. Thank you for this brilliant course, I truly loved it.

•The professor is very enthusiastic and presents the material in a very interesting way. However, when it comes to homework assignments, I noted that both I and most of the students whose work I reviewed had only a vague understanding, at times, of precisely what was expected in our submissions, and what were the correct responses.

•This course definitely ranks among the best I have taken. The material is challenging, the assignments are rigorous and the lectures are very well structured. The explanation is clear which makes this course a stimulating and rich experience. I thoroughly enjoyed taking it.

•This was an interesting course to be introduced to lexical-semantic frames and observe occurrences of semantic shift in languages. As a poet, I appreciated especially the metaphorical transformations of word use translated from other languages. It shows how rich and diverse the history of human thought is, and how well we preserve it in our idiomatic expressions.
The theory in the lectures is quite thick, but if you understand the gist, the tasks are quite simple, and you get to engage with online corpora and are introduced to research databases and visualizations such as Framenet. I suggest doing the tasks in a second language if you're learning one, as this is bound to feel more beneficial and exploratory. Perhaps due to enrollment numbers, it takes a while for assignments to be peer reviewed.

•Course in not well organized and hard to do assignments and grade others. There is no way to unenroll in the course so if you decide these are issues you can't get rid of the course either.
