We can see this through the valuation of some of the largest companies in the global economy, and the salaries that rolls in data science are demanding. In this first course of CBSP, you'll learn what it takes to initiate a data science project. Our instructor will walk you through everything from engaging stakeholders, and defining project requirements, to help identify pitfalls, to avoid things like scope creep. Once you learn what it takes to initiate a data science project, it is time to formulate a data science project. You'll explore common data science issues, modeling data, and look at the outcomes of data science. Your primary instructor for this course is Mr Stacey McBrian. Stacy is a master instructor, not only for his certain access emerging technologies, but he also holds certifications in cybersecurity, IT, artificial intelligence and IOT. His list of accolades includes honours as an instructor Francisco and compTIA. Stacey is also supported by the amazing Sarah Hawk, who developed all of the projects in coordination with a certain access team. Sarah is an accomplished data scientists and data engineer, with experience in various industries, she is also a certain access contributor, and author. To be successful in this course, remember move at your own pace. Each module is designed to be done in a few hours per week, and each module builds on the previous module, so that we recommend that you work through the specialization in the order that is presented. You have the flexibility to fit learning into your schedule, so you can move faster, or slower than the suggested pace. If you move slower, coursera may notify you if you've fallen significantly behind the suggested deadlines, and have you moved to another session. This is so you'll always have classmates working on the same material as you, to speak to in the discussion forums, and help complete those peer reviews of your projects. But there's no penalty in terms of grading if you miss a deadline. Now speaking of projects, this course ends with a real world project. We recommend you check the final module out at the start of the course, to review the details of the project assignment, this will help you plan your time. As you proceed through the content you can jot down ideas, and maybe even start drafting your project submission.
