Hello everyone. Welcome to Alibaba Cloud, ACA Developers Certification Exam Preparation online training. This is the first chapter, Certification Exam Overview. In this chapter, I will start with the overview of Alibaba Cloud professional certification framework. Then, I will focus on the new certification, like the ACA developers certification exam. I will talk about the outline and the training of adaptive. Before the end of this chapter, I will give you an overview about all the products we cover in the developer certification exam. What you are looking at in the new Professional Certification framework we're implementing in the new year. You may notice that some of the certification you already know like the Cloud computing, Cloud security, Big Data and a Cloud Native. They will be remaining and what they are before. But in this year we're heading to a new certifications into this framework. They are the ACA developer, ACA system operator, the ACP DevOps. You already know that the ACA means Alibaba Cloud Associate, Alibaba Cloud Professional and Alibaba Cloud Expert. In this training, I will focus on the ACA developer certification exam. I'm going to introduce what the exam outline looks like. In ACA developer certification exam, we will majorly test the five domain knowledges. You already see here, the first domain is, we will test if a developer can successfully deploy applications to Alibaba Cloud, and can carefully and smartly select the proper container or server to hold your applications. Another domain where we are going to test is, not only you have the application deployed in the Cloud, at the same time your application needs to talk and interact with other Cloud services including the storage, the database and the sum of the acceleration surveys. All that part you'll be tested here. Then the third domain we're going to verify in a test is, how can you use the proper tools and a service to manage, debug and even optimize applications. Then the fourth domain is about, and a developer, you should know what kind of data storage products and the services we are providing in Alibaba Cloud, including object storage, including database. You should be able to know how can I choose the proper data storage based on the different purpose of your application and how can you leverage the embody the efficiency of those data storage to do the data replication and duplication. The last domain we want to test in this exam is about access control. Which means, you have one publication design but when this application want to interfere with other Cloud service or need you need to grow the some proper privilege for someone to access your application. At that time, you need a way or some tools to be able to control the access and also even to make the data access to be encrypted so that not everyone can touch your original information. These are all the knowledge domains we're going to test in the Developer Certification Exam. Also, we're showing you here is the question types. In the developer certification exam, we will be testing 50 questions, including survey-single twice questions, and a 20 multi-choice questions. Each question, we will give to two points. If you choose a wrong answer, there will be no punishment. Which means you either gained two points from one question or you get a zero from that question. Then, let's look at the training objective. Developer Certification, ACA is intended for the Alibaba Cloud developers. We are assuming that successfully completing the training and the related products learning, you should be able to develop and deploy the fabrication surveys on Alibaba Cloud and then know how to monitor, debug and troubleshoot those services. You need to be able to understand the core Alibaba Cloud services including ECF, SOB, OSS, RDS, and at the same time you understand the mechanism of account authentication and authorization. Know the basic cloud architects, maybe you want to use some readers of some acceleration products into your fundamental architect. Now let's take a quick overview of about all the products we might cover in the certification exam. It looks like a big picture, but don't worry about that because in the other chapters of this online course, we will introduce them one by one. You can look into the file layers of this chart. Each of the layer here is one knowledge domain I listed before. Starting from application deployment, we will introduce ECS, ACR. This is our container registry service, ECI is our container-based lightweight server and function compute is just like the AWS Lambda service, and we also have something called a serverless workflow to help you to integrate different function compute masters into our workflow. API gateway gave you the capability to integrate and organize the different services you were regenerating somewhere, and then they can be consolidated into one central gate. Simple application server, you can just think about it is like a very lightweight ECS. You can deploy some specific application environment into several clicks. A sever migration center is a one to help you to migrate your existing server from your IDC or from other Cloud providers. Then we are looking at this layer, the data storage planning and replication. DTS, you may already know, it's data transmission service, it help you to migrate the database, to migrate to some other third-party database, to the Alibaba Cloud, to either RDS, our Relational Database Service, or the PolarDB, our next-generation Cloud native database. OSS is the object storage from Alibaba Cloud, and a MongoDB, Redis, they are the very famous NoSQL database, but they are Alibaba Cloud optimized. We have a close collaboration with those open source community. Cassandra and HBase, you can consider them under wider table also fall into the NoSQL database category. Then in this layer, we talk about cloud service interaction. If you only have application, it need to interact with other cloud service to provide more complete functionalities, including using their readers to accelerate the data access between the application and the database. The application need to store data in a relational database, or store some unstructured data into the OSS. You may use message service and the message queue from Alibaba Cloud to interact with each other. Finally, to implement large area or the global wide unified user experience, you may want to consider using Alibaba Cloud Container Delivery Network to accelerate your original server. Then we are looking at this layer. This layer is about application monitoring, debugging, and optimization. CloudMonitor is a very classic services from Alibaba Cloud to give you most of the Cloud products matrix and the information monitoring. Tracing analysis is more like dynamic in the runtime application situation analysis. It can even trace back to show you what is going on right now in your application environment. Log service, it is a very comprehensive service for log collection, log storing, and log visualization. Finally, regarding AutoScaling, because in Cloud, application want to be elastic, but when you extend your servers or extend the application, you may facing some challenges that, how can I still maintain consistency between the data that shared between the different applications? That is the question we need to address when we talk about AutoScaling. The last layer here is access control. Again, it is about data security and account security. Regarding account security, we are using Resource Access Manager to help you to implement that. For the data security, KMS, it help you to manage the security keys and help you to encrypt and decrypt data. SSL Certificate, you can purchase the certification from Alibaba Cloud and implement and apply them into your application or into some other network devices to make the data communication pass is totally secured.
