Welcome to this module on generating RPA Analytics. In this module, you will learn about using robotic process automation, or RPA, in combination with data analytics. Data analytics helps you evaluate data generated in RPA implementation and take pragmatic decisions. Consider the technology firm Logix. The finance department at Logix took the lead in automating processes through RPA. They commenced their RPA plan by identifying the candidate processes that were suitable for automation. Then they designed an automation design plan for the RPA solution. Next, they implemented the solution by creating bots using Automation Anywhere Enterprise client or AAE client. After this, they put the bots to use by deploying and then monitoring them using the web control room. The proposed RPA plan was thus successfully implemented. Logix is now maintaining a digital workforce to streamline more processes and encourage human employees to focus on more creative tasks. However, as a result of increased automation activity, a huge amount of data is being generated and Logix was not sure about how to use this data. Automation Anywhere's web control room and the Bot Insight application is helping them analyze this data and get actionable information from it. Furthermore, to measure the success of their RPA program, Logix is studying various metrics using the CoE dashboard. Logix also needed a mechanism that would help them access RPA business performance and track automation activity on the go. Automation Anywhere's mobile RPA app is helping them achieve this objective. Let see how they are doing this. While managing automated processes, it is helpful to get insights to which of your bots use the most system resources, which bots are scheduled to run, which of these bots failed to run, and what percentage of bots are in progress, paused, unknown, and completed? Automation Anywhere does just that for you with Automation Anywhere Enterprise or AAE. It brings to you real-time operational analytics to help operations managers and practitioners to constantly monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of their digital workforce, and easily quantify processes operational performance on demand. To supplement the operational analytics provided by AAE, Automation Anywhere's Bot Insight application is a powerful data analytics tool. As you have been learning, business is all about decision-making based on data insights. When data is used to help organizations take informed business decisions, it is called business or transactional analytics. If you're building a digital workforce in your organization through software automation, you will need robotic process automation or RPA oriented business analytics, or simply RPA analytics. This is where Bot Insight comes in. It enables analytics experts to leverage the massive amount of content level productivity data that bots generate, touch, interact with, or process to give the organization real-time analytics. Organizations have a variety of analytics consumers that study this data for further processing. Bot Insight provides analytics experts the flexibility and power to generate analytics solutions. In this module, you will also explore the various features offered by Bot Insight such as auto dashboard generation, configurable analytics, easy dashboard customization, report publishing for analytics consumers, comparable dashboards, and published dashboard previewing. Bot Insight can be deployed using Application Programming Interface or APIs that connect with Automation Anywhere Enterprise and fetch the required data. Once you have generated business analytics using Bot Insight, you can study various metrics to measure the success of your RPA program. The Center of Excellence, or CoE dashboard, is an interactive dashboard. It displays all metrics for an organization's RPA projects, providing side-by-side comparisons of business data, and the additional value delivered by the digital workforce. The CoE dashboard evaluates data and activities from multiple box. This enables organizations to see return on investment or ROI, which can be used for faster and reliable forecasting. The CoE dashboard showcases the actual results of RPA within multiple departments using automation technology. Finally, to access your RPA business performance and track automation activity on the go, you can use Automation Anywhere's, mobile RPA app. By the end of this module, you will be able to; highlight the role of AAE in deriving different kinds of RPA analytics, described the analytics capabilities of Bot Insight, demonstrate how to access operational analytics, describe Bot Insight features and user interface or UI elements, deploy Bots using APIs, outline the features of AAEs Bot Insight tool that helped derive business analytics, describe the workflow for deriving business analytics, use the Bot Insight tool to derive useful business analytics, describe the features of the CoE dashboard, configure the CoE dashboard, customize the CoE dashboard, publish the CoE dashboard, and explain how to leverage the RPA mobile app to manage analytics on the go. This is how Logix uses operational analytics and business analytics data to get an insight on their bots functioning and manage them in real time.
