[MUSIC] Hello, welcome back. We are now on week four. Week four is going to be about discussing distribution channel and retail. As you know, the channel many times defines the way that we're going to get to the final consumer, to the final customer. The structure of this week, again, is going to be pretty much the same. We're going to use basically this week to try and reinforce, test, and have some clear take away about distribution channel and retailing. We're going to use Model S, which is a car model of Tesla in the market to review and discuss the distribution channel and retailing strategy. Using the concepts and theory that you have taken from the course in distribution channel and retailing, we'll put it in tests and we check it here with the case of Tesla and specifically, with the current model in the market which is Model S. Then we're going to be, again, having a dilemma. The new model Tesla Model X is a real dilemma here and the big question here is whether they should change the distribution channel, or keep the same channel structure that they currently have. Right now, as you know, after reading the case, the situation is that Tesla is basically selling in a very special way. The channel is actually only the brand itself selling online, basically, taking orders online and just using the dealership, the channel, actually real dealerships, but pre-made shops or show rooms just to show the product. Nothing else, not the traditional dealership of the car industry. Now they want to sell big numbers, they want to do big sales and they are actually considered they should change the retail and distribution channel strategy to a more, let's say, conventional distribution channel with dealerships, in different towns, in different cities, in different countries. Or they should keep this very exclusive distribution channel strategy. That's a big question, and that is going to be probably what is going to be the main dilemma concerning the distribution strategy of Tesla Model X. Once again, good luck, work hard, try and get information from the case. Hopefully, you will get clear takeaways, good learning from this fourth week of the Capstone Project. Thank you. [MUSIC]
