[MUSIC] Okay, so the, the there has to be an interplay an interaction between the control of semantic understanding and, and prosodic understanding, as well as the control of semantic production and, and prosodic produc, production. And so just to illustrate that, think about as you understand language, which of the words is emphasized. Well there has to be the, the right hemisphere is going to be primarily responsible for figuring out which, which time in the in, in the, in a auditory sound is emphasized. But we have to get back over here to understand what the word is that is being emphasized. So for, in, in the, in, an easier way to think about this is that if I make a statement. Let's say I say the mouse ran up the clock. Well I'm, I'm emphasizing the mouse. I have to be able to communicate between the semantic and the prosodic to know that I'm going to emphasize the mouse, as opposed to the mouse ran up the clock, where I emphasize the ran, as opposed to the mouse. So there's an interplay between the two hemispheres in, between proc, prosody and between semantic comprehension. But there is also this huge interplay with body language. So, body language reading the lips, reading the facial expression and all of that is going to, help us to understand what is the real message that a person is trying to communicate. Now that real message may max the semantic content, and it may not. And somebody talking to you with this body language has a very different meaning than somebody that is talking to you with this kind of a body language. So, all of these things are going to come into play when we, when we try to figure out what is being communicated between two individuals. It's a, it's a remarkable, field and one that we don't understand a, a ton about, and I encourage you to, to read further about social communication and, and language. Okay, so in the final wrap-up we'll look at where we've come in this, unit. [MUSIC]
