Welcome to Salesforce Fundamentals. In this demo, we'll be covering data quality, reports and dashboards for lightning experience, data management and duplicate management. Most of these demos will be hands-on experiences and I'll be guiding you through some of these modules. Data quality is extremely important to any organization and there needs to be clean data to be used in Salesforce. Today we'll be creating a report in Report Builder. As usual, make sure that you follow along with the text that is provided to you in the challenge. You will need it as the building blocks for these challenges. So as usual go ahead and launch your Trailhead. Let's do that, let's read through what is required for this challenge. So Ursa Major just updated their website last year and their CEO wants to know how many leads are coming in from the web, and we're wanting to create a report to show all those leads. The report type is going to be leads. These are going to be the standard filters, the fields, and we're going to have an added field filter for lead sources webs and we're going to name this report Web Leads. Go ahead and copy that report name and let's get started. In your Trailhead, you'll see that you're on the front end. You'll want to click on the Reports tab and in reports, you'll create a new report. From here we want to type in Leads into the search function, and click on Leads, and click Continue. This will be a standard report so my personal preference is I like to name the report first, so it will be Web Leads and now we can go into filters. Let's look at the criteria that they have provided to us. It is the date, created date, and the range is all time and we'll go into our filters so show, we want to see all leads because they want to see all the leads that are coming from the Web and the created date is all time. Go ahead and click Apply. We have all the leads for all time created. Now we're going to filter this down even further. We do not need first name, last name, title, or company, or e-mail or street. We only require Lead Owner, Lead Source, and rating, which we have established here. Now we have all the leads here and their rating, and now we want to go a step further and determine which of these are only from the Web. The way we do that is we go back to filters and we want to add a filter. We're going to click on Lead Source, go ahead and click on that, and the operator equals two, and we want it to be specific to Web. This narrows down all our leads that we have gained from all time to only the Web Leads that have come in. From the report, we are now known that the website was updated last year and we have seven leads, and we can now present this to the CEO. Go ahead and go back, it is clean and you can click Save & Run, and as usual, the unique name is automatically created. Again, this is a learning opportunity for you. Report for CEO on Leads that came from new website obtained. Now you want to make sure that you save this into a public report so that people can see it. Select and click Save. Once you've done that, go ahead and check this challenge. Once you get familiarized with these challenges, you will realize that it does take a little bit for them to load. However, once that is done, a little module will pop up and you can move on to the rest. As you can see, we've gained credit. The next modules will be focused on data management, importing and exporting data and duplicate management. These are hands-on modules. Make sure that you pay attention as they will be important for the capstone integration.
