Most projects fail because risk goes unnoticed until it is too late. A deadline slips. A budget breaks. A stakeholder walks. By the time risk becomes visible, it is already a problem. This course puts you on the right side of that gap. Built for Project Managers, Risk Managers, Business Analysts, and Team Leaders. Aligned with PMI-RMP exam standards. Here is what you will be able to do: • Choose the right methodology by applying Predictive, Agile, or Incremental approaches and using sprints, scrum, & user stories where they fit. • Catch risk early by reading attitude, appetite, tolerance, thresholds, and warning triggers before problems escalate. • Handle complexity using risk maturity, assumptions, constraints, and absorption strategies in real project scenarios. • Manage stakeholder influence by identifying how stakeholders shape risk exposure and acting before it becomes a liability. Engaging video lessons. Practice assignments. Graded assessments. Scenario-based learning. Every concept tied to real project situations. Trusted by 7,000+ learners. Rated 4.8 stars. 89% five-star reviews on Coursera. Your next project is already at risk. Build the skills to protect it. Start today! The explanation is simplified and supported by examples related to the field of work and preparation, good and interesting during the fatigue of studying.

It was an excellent and outstanding course I have ever done.

I have had nothing but good experiences here on Coursera, but I felt obliged to comment on this course because it has a high rating and I have no idea why. Here is the current status of this course: the course is spoken entirely by a non-native English speaking AI (contrary to the course description). Neither the audio nor the transcript were reviewed or edited for accuracy (let alone the transcript for comprehension), and everything has the feeling of 100% AI generation. The content is awkwardly repetitive (often within the same 1-2 minutes), and it is wildly incomplete. The reasoning is lacking, the definitions are over-stated in some places, completely devoid of critical parts in others, and random sentences/ideas/thoughts/concepts are thrown into sections where they don't belong whatsoever (looking at you, end of Module 2). It is a chaotic mess, to be honest, especially towards the later half of Module 2, and someone needs to review and edit this. Until then? Try a different course that is human-made and well edited. Just thought you should know.
