In this 1-hour long project-based course, you will learn how to build your own Face Mask Detector model using Teachable Machine, test the trained model and export or save it for future use. Teachable Machine is a fun way of getting started with machine learning even if you do not have coding experience. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.

Learn step-by-step

In a video that plays in a split-screen with your work area, your instructor will walk you through these steps:

  1. Get a hands-on overview Google's Teachable Machine, the workspace you will use for practice and what the finished model will look like.

  2. Begin the process of building the face mask detector using data provided. You will specify the classes to be predicted, learn ways to upload data and train your model.

  3. By the end of Task 3, you are expected to be very comfortable with making tests on your trained model using sample images

  4. By the end of Task 4, you will be able export your trained model or save it for your integrations.
