Visualize and understand how to conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) with line, bar, column, and win/loss SPARKLINE charts in Google Sheets.

Evaluate project data and create a Gantt SPARKLINE in Google Sheets.

By the end of this project, you will be able to leverage SPARKLINE charts within a spreadsheet to visualize data and to graphically represent the progression of a project plan over time so that stakeholders and sponsors can quickly understand the status, dependencies, and future requirements. To do this, you will gain hands-on experience working with performance data and project data to create a variety of SPARKLINE charts including a Gantt chart in the free to use software Google Sheets. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.

  1. Review SPARKLINE charts and how they communicate data within a spreadsheet.

  2. Identify use cases for SPARKINES.

  3. Review functions and import data into Google Sheets.

  4. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and create four different SPARKLINE charts in Google Sheets.

  5. Enter project data into the spreadsheet and create a Gantt SPARKLINE in Google Sheets.
