By the end of this project, you will be able to create empathy maps to gain a holistic view of the User Experience (UX) to help retain customers, mitigate risk, and identify business opportunities. To do this, you will gain hands-on experience applying design thinking, user interface knowledge, and context from the customer journey to build an empathy map in the Miro online visual collaboration platform for teamwork. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.

  1. Review the fundamentals of User Interface (UI) design and how it supports the User Experience (UX).

  2. Consider the benefits of mapping the User Experience (UX).

  3. Walk through the User Experience (UX), consider how empathy mapping can be used to identify customer pain points, and access Miro.

  4. Discover the templates and tools available in Miro, create a new board, and install an Empathy Map in Miro.

  5. Create an empathy map that identifies digital pain points in the User Experience and consider next steps in Miro.
