By the end of this project, you will be able to work “hands-on” with a Blockchain demo platform and apply a supply chain use case on a simple Blockchain as a service (BaaS) platform. Throughout the project, you will be able to identify the basic principles of Blockchain technology and the difference between blockchain and a database. You will be able to define the basic attributes for implementing your own Blockchain application. You will also be aware of the questions you should ask yourself to achieve a successful supply chain integration through blockchain application. Finally, you will implement a blockchain application prototype using SIMBA Chain for enhanced supply chain management. This project will provide you with the know-how of integrating your supply chain through blockchain application. It will also provide you with the knowledge base needed to understand your supply chain processes and decide when blockchain is the right choice for achieving better supply chain management. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.
Familiarity with Supply Chain and its basic concepts is required. However, no technical prerequisites. This course is for beginners.

By the end of Task 1, you will be able to establish a clear identification of your supply chain processes and list their steps, which we will be applying the blockchain technology on.
By the end of Task 2, you will be able to define blockchain, as well as answering the basic questions you need to ask yourself prior to implementing an integrated supply chain blockchain application.
By the end of Task 3, you will be able to interpret the main attributes of blockchain and map them to the attributes of supply chain processes using SIMBA Chain.
By the end of Task 4, you will be able to implement your blockchain application prototype on SIMBA Chain and generate your own Smart Contract to serve your supply chain process.
By the end of Task 5, you will be able to finalize the implementation of the blockchain application on SIMBA Chain and generate its APIs.
