Great entry level course to learn about ethical hacking basics and laws

No coding experience is required. This course focuses on ethical and legal principles rather than technical implementation. The content is accessible to beginners with basic computer knowledge.

This course covers theoretical foundations and legal frameworks. This course can be your first step to becoming an ethical hacker. You'll need additional technical training and proper authorization to practice ethical hacking. The course will help you understand the legal requirements for conducting security assessments. After this course, we recommend that you take the other courses in the IBM Ethical Hacking with Open-Source Tools Skill Professional Certificate.

Beyond the immediate roles in security analysis and penetration testing, understanding ethical hacking principles opens doors to specialized positions in digital forensics, security architecture, and cybersecurity management.
