Partnership eligibility criteria

Coursera is committed to supporting organizations that increase access to education and career mobility for high-need communities. If you are interested in partnering with us, please review the minimum requirements below. If you satisfy this criteria, you may complete the interest form to register your interest for an upcoming partnership application cycle.

Social Impact partner minimum eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a certified non-profit organization or international charity equivalent
  • Has dedicated staff to implement and manage the Coursera program
  • Can deploy a minimum of 250 licenses to underserved learners
  • Able to provide wrap-around support and services to learners
  • Target learner population includes one or more of the following: refugees, underserved students, underserved women & girls, economic mobility for vulnerable communities

Upcoming application cycle

We are excited to announce an update for our Social Impact program: Coursera will be partnering with Benevity starting in the next application cycle, which opens at the beginning of 2026. To be eligible to apply for our program, your organization must be listed in the Benevity Causes Portal. We strongly encourage you to register in the Benevity Causes Portal now to ensure a seamless application experience for the Coursera Social Impact program in the future. If your organization is already registered in the Benevity Causes Portal, no further action is needed. If you have not yet registered, please click the link below to complete your Benevity Causes Portal application. We are currently processing our pipeline of charities who have previously submitted an interest form and look forward to welcoming new partners as we look to expand our efforts in 2026.
