Based on responses from 52,000+ learners across 179 countries, our 2025 Learner Outcomes Report, created in collaboration with The Harris Poll, demonstrates that learners are seeing strong results by learning on Coursera, including:
- Nearly half (46%) experienced a salary increase since enrolling in their course or program on Coursera
- 1 in 4 (27%) reported a higher job level post-completion
- 79% who reported improving their performance at work did so within three months of completing their course or program
GenAI is transforming how people learn
AI is now ubiquitous throughout the modern workplace, with 93% of learners reporting they have used AI for work or learning, and 47% reporting daily usage. These learners are also seeing career returns on their investment:
- 94% of full-time professionals who completed GenAI content experienced a positive impact at work
- 94% who used Coursera Coach said it improved their learning experience
- 85% who used machine translation reported benefits to learning in their preferred language
Coursera had a major impact on my career. The Machine Learning course gave me the knowledge and confidence to transition from a Database Administrator to an AI/ML Engineer.
