Offer End Date: February 29, 2020 at 11:59 P.M. PT, or while supplies last, whichever occurs first
Eligibility: The Google IT Professional Certificate Incentive Offer (the “Offer”) is open to legal U.S. residents currently residing in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who (a) are 18 years old or the age of majority, whichever is older as of the date of participation; (b) prospective or current Coursera learners for the Google IT Support Professional Certificate or the Google IT Automation with Python Professional Certificate (collectively, the “Program”); and (c) received an Offer Invitation (defined below). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the following learners are not eligible for the Offer: learners who have received financial assistance for any Google IT courses through Coursera; learners enrolled through a program administered and/or sponsored by their employer or college/university; learners enrolled in a degree or MasterTrack program hosted on Coursera and learners who are enrolled in the Program through non-profit organizations or community colleges in the Coursera for Business or Coursera for Governments and Organizations programs, funded by Google.org or Grow with Google. In addition, employees, officers, and directors of Coursera, Inc. (“Coursera”) and Google LLC (“Google”), or any of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, website providers, and web masters, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household are not eligible for the Offer. Participation constitutes your full and unconditional agreement to these Terms and Conditions and to Google and Coursera’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Offer. Receiving a Prepaid Card (defined below) is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Coursera reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants.

How to Redeem the Offer: Starting on January 21, 2020, Coursera will send eligible learners an email invitation (“Offer Invitation”), inviting the learner to participate in the Offer, and containing a link to a commitment statement (“Commitment Statement”). In order to opt-in to participate in the Offer, you must click on the link to navigate to the Commitment Statement, provide the requested information (including your full name and email address) and submit the completed Commitment Statement by 11:59 P.M. PT on February 29, 2020 (“Commitment Deadline”). The email address that you provide on the Commitment Statement must match the email address that is associated with your Coursera account.
Once you have submitted the Commitment Statement by the Commitment Deadline, you will have until 11:59 P.M. on August 31, 2020 to complete the Program (“Program Completion Deadline”). The Program may not be taken through audit mode, and you must be enrolled in a monthly or Coursera Plus subscription for the entirety of the Program (e.g., you may not complete the Program through a 7-day free trial). If you successfully complete the Program by the Program Completion Deadline, you will be emailed a $150.00 electronic Visa® Prepaid Card (“Prepaid Card”) to the email address that you provided on the Commitment Statement. Issuer terms and conditions apply to Prepaid Card; see front and back of card for terms. Limit: ONE PREPAID CARD PER PERSON. OFFERS ONLY AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
You must submit the Commitment Statement by the Commitment Deadline and successfully complete the Program by the Program Completion Deadline, all in compliance with these Terms and Conditions, in order to receive the Prepaid Card, subject to verification by Coursera. Normal Internet access, phone, and usage charges imposed by your online or phone service may apply. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of Prepaid Cards by using multiple and/or different identities, email addresses, Coursera accounts, or any other methods is strictly prohibited, and that participant may be disqualified at Coursera’s discretion. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address and/or Coursera account. ANY PERSON ATTEMPTING TO DEFRAUD COURSERA OR GOOGLE IN ANY WAY IN CONNECTION WITH THIS OFFER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, BY COMPLETING THE PROGRAM THROUGH FRAUDULENT MEANS) WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
Offer Restrictions: Any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and all fees and expenses related to acceptance and use of the Prepaid Card not specifically stated herein are the responsibility solely of participant. Prepaid Card cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; however, Coursera reserves the right to make equivalent substitutions at its sole discretion. Coursera will not replace any lost or stolen Prepaid Cards.
General Conditions: This Offer is governed by the laws of the United States. Void where prohibited by law and outside the United States. Subject to all federal, state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. Coursera and its agencies are not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network, server, or other connections, garbled transmissions or miscommunications; computer or software malfunctions or damage to a user’s computer equipment (software or hardware); technical failures; or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or otherwise. Coursera’s failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS OFFER OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE OFFER MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, COURSERA AND GOOGLE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Coursera reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to tamper with or undermine the Offer process, the website, and/or the legitimate operation of the Offer; to violate the Terms and Conditions; or to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person. If, for any reason, the Offer is not capable of running as planned, Coursera may, in its sole discretion (a) cancel or terminate the Offer (or any portion thereof); and/or (b) modify the Offer or suspend the Offer to address the impairment and then resume the Offer in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Terms and Conditions.
PUBLICITY; LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASES:
BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS OFFER, PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT COURSERA, GOOGLE, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT COMPANIES, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, REPRESENTATIVES, CONSULTANTS, CONTRACTORS, LEGAL COUNSEL, ADVERTISING, PUBLIC RELATIONS, PROMOTIONAL, FULFILLMENT AND MARKETING, WEBSITE PROVIDERS, WEB MASTERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) WILL HAVE NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR, AND SHALL BE HELD HARMLESS BY PARTICIPANT AGAINST, ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND TO PERSONS, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, OR PROPERTY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, MISUSE, OR USE OF THE PREPAID CARD OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS OFFER OR IN ANY OFFER-RELATED ACTIVITY, OR ANY CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION OR INVASION OF PRIVACY, OR MERCHANDISE DELIVERY. Disputes: Participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Offer or any Prepaid Card shall be subject to the relevant provisions in Coursera’s Terms of Use, located at https://www.coursera.org/about/terms.
Privacy: Information collected from participants is subject to the Coursera’s Privacy Notice, which can be found at https://www.coursera.org/about/privacy.
Issuer Statement: The Visa Prepaid Card is issued by The Bancorp Bank, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. and can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted in the U.S.
