It was great learning experience. But the content can be improved more advanced concepts and be added. So that one can directly apply for jobs after completing the course.

The knowledge acquired in the previous courses in the IBM Full stack developer certificate are not enough to understand this course, however with the help of chat GPT it is possible to understand all the necessary information. However if I do not have previous experience with node.js it takes a lot more time than advertised.

Pacing of the course needs alot of work. Most weeks crammed too much information into it. Without outside resources, I do not believe I would have learned the concepts taught in this course.

Similar to the IBM React course, this course also needs a complete revamp. It is similarly quite theoretical and there aren't enough small exercises to practice coding to be able to understand everything and complete the final project. I had to again refer to lots of outside resources for completing the final project which shouldn't be the case.

Most of the labs didn't work throughout the course. Since just learning, this made it exceptionally difficult to apply anything in the course to the final project. The external links to lab walk-throughs also did not work, so was unable to get any hands on experience throughout the course.

Pretty Mechanical, you don't really learn anything because the videos are not engaging.

Positives 1. This course contained short but informative videos. 2. Overall, the course was helpful in progressing my knowledge. Negatives A. Quizzes 1. Poor scrolling experience on mobile pages may cause users to unintentionally select a different answer. 2. Some of the quiz submission confirmation dialog boxes seem to be unnecessary. 3. The Coursera Honors Code should only be mentioned for graded quizzes. B. Labs 1. Lab completion times are fraudulent and were never done from the student’s perspective. 2. Cloud IDE has slow and unstable connections. 3. On multiple occasions, the Cloud IDE inbox message pop-ups caused lab sessions to hang and caused lots of delays. 4. There are many spelling errors in the lab instructions. C. Final Project 1. Final project grades that come from students are inaccurate and should be reviewed by the Coursera staff. 2. The final project of this course contains duplicate lab instructions that need to be removed. D. Staff 1. This course clearly takes more than 15 hours to complete, so the instructors’ course completion estimates are fictional.

A bot reading from PowerPoint slides with little or no actual learning growth. Seems like the reviews are paid or fake. There is no proper code snippet, no live coding. How anyone can rate this 5 stars is beyond my understanding.

I completed the course before the free trial ended. However, when I tried to obtain the certificate, it was not allowed because I was asked to purchase a subscription.
