Boring. Really weird definitions of "functional" programming. A lot of useless content that doesn't really add any value to those interested in learning FE.

Sometimes they do not explain the thing clearly and I was really confused when I had to write a test. This course is good but still need improvement

Can be overwhelming and hard to understand as a beginner, you might find Youtube and other resources helpful alongside.

The evaluations of the projects are awful, I've been trying to pass many times and yet I don't know where's the error.

I thought this was a really difficult section. They threw a lot of information in especially in week 3.

This course is very much less about javascript itself and it provides less high level javascript.

The course covered useful introductory material but the quizzes and labs were so full of errors!

The "Arrays and Object Iteration" assignment was too finicky and the feedback for it was bad.

For absolute beginners to programming in general ok. Programming assignments are very easy.

I didn't particularly like the course. Firstly, the order in which the topics are covered is rather odd. Secondly, the explanations of the topics aren't particularly clear, and they sometimes use strange real-life analogies, which, in my opinion, don't really illustrate the point. Thirdly, there are errors in both the lectures and the practical assignments. Fourthly, it seems the course has been revised several times, with additional reading material or new video lectures added, so sometimes things are repeated several times, sometimes in shorter or more comprehensive forms, which adds to the chaos. I would recommend taking the current material, information from reviews and the forum, and simply rewriting and rewriting the course. Conclusion: As an experienced programmer (but not in Java script), I am glad that this course was not my first course in programming, otherwise I most likely would not have become a programmer.

I would have liked more time focusing on the fundamentals like arrays, manipulating the dom, event listeners and the bare bones basics that you would use when building a webpage. Module 3 jumps into advanced javascript out of nowhere, then proceeds to talk about JSON, NPM and testing. It was simply too much information to take in all at once, and this course should probably be split into 2. with more focus on practical examples of the BASICS that are covered in module 1 and 2. That was a really challenging course, and i didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as the HTML & CSS lessons.

This course has been particularly hard for me to get through because it skips information between classes. You go from getting a small, basic introduction to something to the next lesson being 10 steps ahead. It forces me to leave the site and move to a different platform to learn what was missed in the previous video. That leaves me unmotivated to stick to this course and I think I might have to leave the course entirely because I am struggling to learn when there are gaps of information in between every session.
