About the Course

This course provides a comprehensive introduction to fundamental components of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI & ML) infrastructure. You will explore the critical elements of AI & ML environments, including data pipelines, model development frameworks, and deployment platforms. The course emphasizes the importance of robust and scalable design in AI & ML infrastructure. By the end of this course, you will be able to: 1. Analyze, describe, and critically discuss the critical components of AI & ML infrastructure and their interrelationships. 2. Analyze, describe, and critically discuss efficient data pipelines for AI & ML workflows. 3. Analyze and evaluate model development frameworks for various AI & ML applications. 4. Prepare AI & ML models for deployment in production environments. To be successful in this course, you should have intermediate programming knowledge of Python, plus basic knowledge of AI and ML capabilities, and newer capabilities through generative AI (GenAI) and pretrained large language models (LLM). It was an interesting course, but I feel I would have learned a lot more if there had been more video content of the coding and ML building sections. I feel I did most of the learning externally to the course as I had to watch YouTube videos to understand concepts the course breezed through without explaining very well. For example, in the sections of coding a ML program through Azure, the course just pasted blocks of code to use but did not explain what they did or how to gain a deeper understanding of the execution. I was able to run the code, but I do not think I could replicate that activity outside of the specific framework of this course. The few times there was a screen recording of somebody executing code were the only times I fully understood what was going on as I could see how they were writing the code and watching it run. I gave it two stars as I did learn new concepts, and I think this course has a lot of promise, but I think it still needs some work to be a fully engaging program

Everything is extremely general, no real depth, very little code, coding videos show code being copy pasted and executed. This is neither interesting for an introduction to actually doing ML nor to Azure

Didn't learn anything. If I didn't have any experience with Python or data engineering at all, I don't think it would have been helpful since the concepts are not explained in-depth. FYI, the final project is a business pitch to c-suite executives. Maybe it is useful if you want to play the corporate ladder game, but has very little to do with any technical knowledge of AI/ML. I regret spending ~$50.
