The capstone project is a very good summary and recap of the previous eight courses of the program. In that sense it is a great opportunity to revisit all sections and retry things. On the bad side, the course is not moderated - do not expect to have any questions responded to by the course authors. Quite a few instructions in many exercises are unclear and so the user is left to figure things out and produce results that are not necessarily intended by the course authors. Some tasks are impossible to achieve with the knowledge and tools provided - take fetching the APIs in Module 3 as an example. Users have been posting for months that it does not work yet no feedback was received. Finally it would be great if a sample capstone project could be provided as a zip file for course finishers as a reference of how Meta imagines writing such applications. Otherwise we are left with our own ideas or ideas of people whose work we have reviewed.
