I really enjoyed learning Linux and practicing the commands as I learned. I was familiar with MYSQL and I was able to get a quick review of the commands performed in them and syntax.

Fun and more interactive then the first 3 courses, with the introduction of labs to practice and explore Linux and SQL. I found it to be a bit difficult, but ultimately rewarding.

I felt the information was presented really well, but there wasn't enough repetition in the activities. All of the labs tell you exactly what you need to do; you can even copy and paste the commands instead of typing them yourself. There are very few moments of figuring out a problem for yourself, and there is very little work that you do just to ingrain the process and commands. Also, the last page of reading really felt like "now you know the absolute basics of SQL, go teach yourself the rest", which I don't appreciate--I don't know if a deeper knowledge will be necessary in the workplace or not, but I'm taking this course to *be taught* the skills I need, not to be told to teach myself. And at the end, the AI conversation didn't even ask me about Linux, even though three of the four modules were about using Linux. However, I really appreciated the instructor's presentations, her tone of voice, and the way she broke down her examples. I also appreciated that, unlike previous courses, she didn't present a basic foundation via video and then pawn off the more complex stuff to a reading section (which makes learning much more difficult). In this course, almost all of the reading was a re-tread of the video content, so you could basically choose which style of learning works for you. Overall, the instruction was a great improvement over the previous courses.
