This course is really useful to new and experienced teachers, instructors from kindergarten to college levels. It brings you to meet yourself in new perspective of teaching and learning context.

A comprehensive course let down by poor recording quality. It was obviously put together a long time ago, but most of the content holds up very well today. I am not a teacher, but I am a librarian, and I have learned a lot from Professor John MacBeath. This introductory course doesn't take very long to complete. I fully recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their knowledge of teaching and see how they feel about completing further courses. There are nine courses in the Foundations of Teaching for Learning set. To those complaining that there is no guidance on the course order, I agree that it is inconvenient not to have this information upfront, but you will receive an email along with your grade stating which the next course on the pathway is. (Being a Teacher is Part 2!)
