Outdated with a lot of mistakes and a lot of copy pasting. You can learn some things of course but still don't spend more than 2 hours for the whole course. For example, in the lab Deploying to App Engine, you have to change from Java 11(not supported anymore) to Java 17 and update the maven plugin as well to 2.4.4 version.

Graded labs like "Working with Spanner" included in this course are not active for weeks causing a delay in completion of the course and forcing me to extend and par for my Coursera subscription month after month pay for the Coursera months.

Outdated labs. Many exceptions while deploying. Lack of viedo support. Just the labs.

Unfortunately. very superficial... only overview with step by step tutorials.

how do you expert me to audit a course without access to the lab work?

I thought I'm gonna learn developing applications with spring boot!

you can learn only if pay! You can see freee only discription!

Google commercial. Useless without the labs.

Lab 12 has issues

You can have an overall idea as well as hands on experience on basic components of GCP. Lab setups are well maintained and provide step by step instructions.

But It is better if it contain small description or theory part behind every lab step telling that why we are doing this step & what is the technical and theoretical background behind this action etc.

Fantistc course where i done a practical experience with Google Cloud Platform using: Cloud SQL, Cloud Trace, Pub/Sub, Pub/Sub with Spring, Uploading and storing files (Cloud DB Bucket), Using Cloud Platform APIs (Cloud Vision Artificial Intelligence API), Deploying to App Engine, Deploying to Google Kubernetes Engine and Kubernetes Monitoring Prometheus

The course give insight on how to leverage Spring Cloud GCP and google cloud services to deploy a microservice architecture based application, manage, scale ,repackage it to use cloud native persistence and give various strategies to efficiently leverage GCP capabilities. The course content is amazing and taught me a lot! The hands on lessons using google cloud console makes it even better! Some of the images in the tutorials look like screenshots from older version of google cloud, it would be more helpful to have images from the newer versions of google cloud.

Course covers fundamental concepts, Overall lab activities and instructions are good. Consider having questions at the end of each chapter. Lab instruction for last chapter (Monitoring Google Kubernetes Engine with Prometheus) seems incorrect, was not working, rest all fine.

Amazing course and a must course if anyone uses GCP and Spring Microservices. Definitely recommend this to all microservices developers. Gave a very good insight on amazing features that GCP offers and so many methods to choose from.

The course offers a detailed yet concise coverage of topics and really helps understand the concepts in detail. The labs are great for a hands-on, it'll launch you for working with GCP and encourage you to dive further into it.

The hands on nature was incredible! The course was a fantastic overview of a broad range of GCP capabilities. I'm much more confident now in knowing what's out there, and what it would take to consume.
