About the Course

In Course 4 of the Natural Language Processing Specialization, you will: a) Translate complete English sentences into Portuguese using an encoder-decoder attention model, b) Build a Transformer model to summarize text, c) Use T5 and BERT models to perform question-answering. By the end of this Specialization, you will have designed NLP applications that perform question-answering and sentiment analysis, and created tools to translate languages and summarize text! Learners should have a working knowledge of machine learning, intermediate Python including experience with a deep learning framework (e.g., TensorFlow, Keras), as well as proficiency in calculus, linear algebra, and statistics. Please make sure that you’ve completed course 3 - Natural Language Processing with Sequence Models - before starting this course. This Specialization is designed and taught by two experts in NLP, machine learning, and deep learning. Younes Bensouda Mourri is an Instructor of AI at Stanford University who also helped build the Deep Learning Specialization. Łukasz Kaiser is a Staff Research Scientist at Google Brain and the co-author of Tensorflow, the Tensor2Tensor and Trax libraries, and the Transformer paper....

The lectures need more insights to understand not only the 'how' but a reasonable amount of the 'why', too. Andrew is very good at doing this in his lectures and provide his intuitions and insights.

The course lectures were very confusing, and the course assignments were too easy, so they didn't reinforce the lecture concepts in the same way that assignments from other courses had.

Not a good course, the first 3 courses were really good but this one was too hard and the vedios didnt complement it well. The vedios just read a script and such a complex science topic is hard to digest this way. The reading was noo different in the other courses as well but since they were easy to understand , it didnt matter much. But this was too hard. Now have to search in you tube ig

imposible to make the notebook work. It always fails and shows as incomplete in the grade. I get the message of completed cell # UNIT TEST w3_unittest.test_parse_squad(parse_squad) All tests passed But still shows as incomplete. The labs of course are complete waste of time and disappointment

Too easy. I can say I almost didn't learn anything.
