I'm learning a LOT, and you don't have to take it quite as slowly as they suggest. But, it's nice that there's a manageable pace set out for you. Instructor and guests were great--relatable and clear.

Very well put together and interactive, I love the team incorporated pop up questions in the videos this really helped with the learning process. I'm also impressed at how accurate the transcript it.

I am really enjoying the course Foundations of Project Management. The instructors are very clear and concise and the different forms of presenting the information (videos, readings, interactive videos) make learning fun. This class gives an overview of Project Management including transferrable skills you may already have, project management roles, project management methodologies, organizational culture and more. I highly recommend the class and am looking forward the next five courses in the Project Management Certificate program. Thanks, Coursera and Google!

The course was a good overview of project management concepts. Efficient use of learning time. Effective resources/readings. The quizzes were intuitive and matched the content.
Application-wise, the assignments where you write your own thoughts were effective, though I noticed not all students gave detailed answers. Take advantage of every assignment and you'll get a good learning experience.
A little over 3 hours for each week and there are 4 weeks in total (for me it took 1 week). About 15 hours in total including job searching as part of a couple of the exercises.

This course was great. I loved the content, although in the first 2 weeks there were repeated information but in general it was JUST WHAT I NEEDED to manage the project I was working on.
The amount of content was just right. There were videos where google employees spoke about project management which were one of my favourite parts, it was a good break.
The quizzes were perfect and I love the correcting criteria.
I totally recommend it. You will have so much fun learning.
I am so excited to start course 2 of the program.

Excellent course. Really enjoyed the content from start to finish. I initially had thought it would take me about three weeks to finish as I'm doing two other certificate programs as well plus working as a freelancer and studying for graduate school exams but I ended up finishing it in only a week as the material was so enjoyable I decided to put aside more time and finish it a lot quicker. Looking forward to course two and beyond!

I managed to complete this in about a week. The class structure is very well thought out and I love how it is. There are short videos along with short reading lessons. The quizzes are also short. I find it works best, for me, to take about a week's worth of courses a day. Any more than that and I start losing focus and start failing the quizzes, so don't overdo yourself. The instructor and guests are amazing. Great job!

Exceptionally desifgned and delivered program that open doors to possibilities in project management. Difficulty level phases are well designed and concepts are well scaffolded as they gradually allowed the learner to experience progressive learning.
An opportunity for improvement exists at times, in how questions are structured and anwers are articulated.Overall - excellent and highly recommend for beginners to PM

Overall, the intro is well balanced and informative. I feel like I have the required knowledge to proceed to course #2. My only criticism would be that some of the test questions were worded poorly, in that it was difficult to understand the question. It would be awesome if there was a way to click on the question for an alternative wording or a more in depth explanation. Thank you so much for these courses!

This course has been a rush for me. I've loved every minute of it, and I've learned so much! I started this journey with almost no knowlege about project management, neither I knew if it would be of any interest for me. Now I find myself ansious to keep going and learn more! The course is impecable, the teachers are amazing, it's full of useful infographics and the challenges are fun! Totally recomended!

The course is informative, easy to navigate, the videos and the real-stories are a pleasure to watch. The quizzes helped review what part of the material should be re-watched or read again. Discussion forums help connect with other people and read insights from others. The glossary comes in handy as well for definitions. Thanks a lot for all the hard work that was put behind building this amazing course!

Easy to understand, but packed with really valuable information, especially if you have any background in management. As an outsource manager, I've been looking for ways to broaden my professional horizons, and project management correlates nicely with outsource management. So far, I have began to piece together the overlap of these 2 career paths, and I'm excited to learn more and apply this knowledge.

This journey into Learning Project Management through Google has been such a wonderful and beginner friendly introduction! It's facisinating to be able to relate and implement my own experiences into what I am learning with my experiences with my current company, and I loved the stories and the diverse background of the Googlers that gave their time to talking to us in the course. See you in Course 2!

The Google Project Management course is beginner-friendly, practical, and well-structured. It covers both traditional and Agile methods, with real-world examples and useful templates. I gained strong skills in communication, planning, and leadership, and I now feel confident to start an entry-level project management role. Highly recommended!

Very comprehensively designed course. The content was good. Materials presented were systematic and organized to retain one's attention and interest. Transition from one section to another was also very smooth; overall layout of the modules and presentation was catchy. Had my interest throughout!

The main presenter started off a bit rough, a little unwelcoming in his mannerisms. However, he keeps a solid composure, and he presents the material VERY clearly (which is the important part). After week 1 or so, he seemed to have polished his skills, and he became a better presenter whom I learned the most from. The activities are nice to do. The drag and drop is useful and interesting. The wording of tests can overlap and cause confusion in the "select all" answers in which they want nearly verbatim answers from the miles of text you read. They should really label "how many" need to be selected per answer when the 3rd or 4th answer isn't inevitably incorrect. The downloadable reading is really nice and helps supplement the content. I like that they repeat and reiterate things because this develops memorization of it. The worst parts of this are the peer interactions which aren't forced, but feel completely useless. If it were highly trained peers in similar levels of knowledge, critique would be useful. In this case, not really. I suppose if you're lonely, it is beneficial. I didn't feel a whole lot of energy going around when I did skim the commentary. Most people didn't even seem to understand the questions or implications desired. Also, at least half of the very quick videos of employees as examples in day-to-day life were absolutely useless, and I felt I got nothing from it except filler time. I don't mind filler time when working toward a requirement though. However, most of them couldn't present half as well as the main guy, didn't seem to be professional at all, and they really didn't strike me as anything near a leader or manager. That being said, I'm ready for part 2. I'm excited for more hands on experience, and I am looking forward to getting better teachers.

It was a good course. Good enough for me to want to continue to the next course.
The tests and examples were great and easy to follow, no changes there.
For someone who is extremely organized, the videos where challenging to outline. For someone else with a different personality, it was probably perfect.
The platform is a bit challenging to follow, for example, I am unable to find the course I just completed on the 'Completed' tab.
It was very repetitive and had a bit too much fluff. The course could have been much shorter and save us some time.
