Great introduction and walk-through that results in a completed basic campaign with multiple ads. The only drawback is it does not cover responsive ads.

The instructor explained nicely, and one doesn't need to have any prior knowledge to complete this project.

I learned a lot on Google ads and has helped me to get on the basics of Google ads.

This Guided Project is Somewhat helpful for a beginner like me but the only thing is that if it was explained with some different examples it would have been even more helpful.

I couldn’t continue sections didn’t go through. Some update is needed.

The instruction was not very clear and lab was inadequate because instructor's page was different from the page on the Google Ad account I created. The split page was also not functional.

Outdated

The structure of the course was the proper one, but the training was too generic, without entering into details and what is most important, it would be good to have it on the already preforming campaign so be to able to see the results and learn how to read them/optimize properly.

Outdated version of Google Ads used. I can barely follow the instruction on step 3 anymore.

Not as advertised! I was very excited about this course as it would allow me to advance in my current role. As a hands-on learner I was excited to follow along and complete a project. However, the course is outdated as of 2025. Google ads has updated their interface so the course it impossible to follow along, in order to proceed past the main account screen you need to provide payment information, which requires a $50 temporary charge just to set up an account. Coursera needs to update the course as this version is not effective unless you are content with just watching the instructor use the software.
