About the Course

This 1-hour, project-based course introduces learners to the powerful pivot table feature of most spreadsheet applications. We’ll be using Excel on the Web in this project, which is the free spreadsheet application offered by Microsoft. However, many of the concepts that you will learn in this project will be applicable to other spreadsheet programs, such as LibreOffice Calc and Google Sheets. We will cover the following concepts in a hands-on manner: - Introduction to the functionality of pivot tables. - Application of pivot tables to quickly summarize large amounts of raw data in detail. - Visualize generated data from pivot tables for accessible information at a glance using charts. Please Note: If you don't have a free Microsoft account, you will need to create one to be able to complete the content....

Instructor speaks clearly and at a very good pace to understand. His examples and sample documents and various pivot tables and charts were great.

I learned a lot of things, the course & instructor were pretty clear and this will be very useful. 2 slightly negative points : 1. I wasn't able to use the online lab, wasn't able to copy the file and had to download it and take a one month subscription to office 365 to be able to follow along the course and 2 the teacher went a little bit fast and i had to pause and/or rewind multiple times to be able to take notes & see what he was doing. But all in all, pretty good course.

This course delivered clear, step-by-step guidance on creating and using pivot tables, with hands-on exercises that reinforced each concept. The interactive environment made it easy to follow along and immediately apply new skills. I would have appreciated a few more advanced examples, but overall it’s an excellent introduction for anyone new to pivot tables.

Some minor complaints about the course, but overall, this was really worth my time. The instructor was easy to understand, had a good sense of humor, and didn't go too fast, but, that said, a lot of material is covered in this short course.
