Un Final Decepcionante que Devalúa el Certificado El curso Capstone de Análisis de Datos de Google, que se supone que es la fase más importante, resultó ser la más frustrante y con la guía más deficiente de toda la certificación. Sinceramente, esperaba muchísimo más de un programa con el nombre de Google. Después de todo el esfuerzo, el módulo final te deja completamente solo y sin herramientas claras para el mundo real. ¡Se siente que el foco está más en el nombre que en la formación relevante! Mi mayor frustración es la deficiencia total de la metodología de enseñanza. Por ejemplo, el curso solo te dice que uses Kaggle para conseguir los datos, pero luego nunca explica qué más se supone que debes hacer ahí. Yo me pregunto: después de tomar los datos, ¿qué sigue? ¿Debo hacer el análisis en esa misma plataforma, o solo es un almacén? No enseñan cómo integrar esa herramienta de forma práctica en el flujo de trabajo de un analista. Además, el curso solo te dice que hagas un portafolio y un storytelling, pero nunca nos muestra un solo ejemplo o plantilla de cómo debe lucir eso para un empleador real. Nos hablan de "documentar el proceso" como si fuera obvio, dejando al estudiante completamente perdido. Para colmo, las herramientas recomendadas son deficientes. Tableau Public es increíblemente estresante y lento para ver las visualizaciones, lo cual es inaceptable para un portafolio. En resumen, me quedé con la sensación de que el certificado solo tiene el nombre de Google, pero la fase final no aporta el valor real que necesito para conseguir trabajo. La deficiencia del curso es evidente cuando el estudiante debe recurrir a buscar tutoriales externos para entender cómo armar su propio portafolio profesional. Una decepción total. There are too many distracting elements, such as the teacher appearing too frequently, which takes away from the learning experience. As beginners, we need a clear framework for the entire data analytics course, allowing us to focus on the most important concepts first. It would be more effective to present the main structure and foundational knowledge without unnecessary interruptions. Additionally, a lot of the essential content is only found in the reading materials rather than being explained by the instructor. We also need more hands-on practice with tools like SQL, Tableau, and R, but the instruction lacks depth. Overall, I believe the course could be significantly improved by enhancing the structure, focusing on key concepts, and providing more detailed and practical teaching.

I wish an instructor walked us through this case study and then assigned another one. I had the intention of completing this but got discouraged with a lot of unanswered questions on completing it. For starters, the data set is way too big and was unable to download it onto a spreadsheet, etc. I think a small dataset of no more than 100 would be ideal for a beginner project. I thought they would've updated this course by now, since many learners shared the same sentiment in the discussion group. Imo, it definitely needs to be updated.

Absolutely abysmal case study prompts. I was very excited to do this but these assignments are boring, generic, uninspiring, and dull.

The worst course of all the program as the necessary tools for completing the case study aren't available

Case 1 and 2 are pretty lame

Too slow and too many unnecessary components in the course. Wish it's more focused on data analytics.
