Very good materials, clear and precise. Very useful for anyone with a knowledge of another programming language and very easy to understand for begineers. Highly recommended.

Great content, perfectly structured for the once who already know programmig. Beginers may need to revise/practice more to keep up with the topics.

Fairly good intro to R in some sense, but there are a lot of concepts, functions, and many other aspects that are not explained well that you are expected to seemingly know. Lots of good tips and necessary things that are not explained. For example, why not just say 'else' needs to be on the same line as {. It is things like this that really do not make it very beginner-friendly. Because of these reasons and many more, the '10 hour' time is a completely fantastical timeframe to complete this as a beginner. There is no chance of completing it in anywhere near that amount of time. The tasks themselves can be good, but the assignments really don't ensure you remember what you are taught. There is the opportunity to play around during the labs, but the actual tests are very easy. This is with the exception of the final project, which I would say is fairly extensive, though I highly recommend you complete this in your own R environment, as many have complained about sign-ups needed on IBM. In my opinion, this course is almost impossible to complete without supplementary material such as YouTube. That said, the bot does offer good assistance, but it shouldn't be the case that you have to heavily rely on this just to understand the content. The bot is a better teacher.

I have done many MOOCs over the years but doing IBM certification for data analytics is a very different experience on Coursera. This certification is designed and envisioned by those without experience in adult learning/pedagogy/course design. The result is frustration. They may have outsourced different components of courses; someone who wrote the transcripts had nothing to do with those responsible for designing projects and evaluations. Adding more icing on the cake, they have kinda forced learners to use Jupyter for R-related work in Watson Studio, which has been a total pain.

I learned a lot and enjoyed the course for the most part. To improve the course I would include more practice exercise labs(multiple per subject instead of one). Additionally because their was not enough practice, I found the capstone pretty hard(it took me far longer than the time duration listed for the module). If more exercises could be included and the capstone difficulty decreased a little bit I think I would have given this course a 5.

This course is average. I didnt feel that the content equipped me to do the exam confidently, eventhough I made an effort to understand everything and practice.

A lot of information is technically there, but some things like the end of course peer-graded assignment feel disjointed and aren't as clear as they could be.

I had alot of problems with the labs and I encountered questions and things in the labs that wouldn't even be introduced until a few videos later.

Student performance would be enhanced if more time were spent on R basics.

I did not like this course compared to the first 4, I feel that they wanted to cover a lot of information without explaining it well. In the first courses each information they taught was well learned because the video was dedicated to a few specific things and here they covered almost 10 functions or more per video. Also the platform for the Jupyter activities when using it I had many problems and I realized that I was not the only one because when reviewing the final project several uploaded photos of the same error.

Course feels rather disjointed and not logically organized. Also, while it is designated as a beginner's course, this feels like a course that is more intermediate and assumes that you have some familiarity with the R environment and coding terminology. I have a PhD and have experience with data analysis (for example, using SPSS), and I found it difficult to follow the videos and lab instructions. I can't imagine what the course would be like for someone with no such knowledge.

As the subject matter got harder there was no one to ask for help. the computer generate question and answer does not understand the questions, so it does not give a helpful answer. went to several outside sources and still didnt understand the subject matter.

this is one of the worst courses I have ever had the displeasure of taking it explains nothing and just assumes that you know it and when the instructor does explain something he does so in a very rushed and uninterested manner and the activities are completely useless the quizzes are short and very easy barely testing you and the labs are just the videos but in sheet form so nothing new and the final exam which was 50mins for 6 questions all about module 1 so all in all your better off wasting your time by staring at a wall than doing this

Moves too fast, the exercises they have are broken links (the website has said under maintenance for over a week now). The videos are quickly done, here is what the end product looks like, and let's move on, and there is very little material to help learn R. If you're hoping to learn beginning coding, forget it. Basically, you spend about 30 minutes watching videos rapidly go by and keep taking the quizzes until you pass. The design really needs to be redone, this so far is the worst course I have taken on Coursera.

This course is not made for beginners. Weeks 1 and 2 are easy to follow, but beginning with web scraping on Week 3 the course completely falls apart. There is no continuity or explanation for why you are learning these concepts or what they would be used for. The videos also give half-explanations for most of the concepts they introduce and nothing is clear until you do the exercises. The AI grading system also does not work at all. I would not recommend this course if you are trying to actually learn R.

You can tell when something has gone sideways when the forum question count for each module go along the lines of : M1 = 10, M2 = 20, M3= 10ish M4=20ish M5 = 350 threads. The training was not executed very well. Good Luck.

Not at all well taught, not at all suitable for Beginner level. Take the similar course offered by Google, which is much more step-by-step manner than random confusing videos of this course.

This course it's very hard to follow if you don't have any R knowledge and it gets to the point of frustration when the hands on lab doesn't have the same demand presented in the course.

hay que complementar con estudios previos o por fuera de la plataforma coursera para poder realizar las tareas.
