Loved this course so much! Opened my mind a lot of new things I had no idea about. I also enjoyed the further readings, they were more in-depth and were great reads overall.

The speaker is very well versed with the topic and uses plain and understandable language whilst not sacrificing the quality of the content.

Easy to follow videos and assignments. I appreciate the transcripts because my ear isn’t tuned to the instructor’s accent yet.

It would be perfect if the course would include pdf, words and others as templates and/or examples for practice by us.

I think that overall, it is a good course. I am hoping that there will be more exercises and real life examples.

The material was good. The honking horns in the background of a few slideshows was annoying.

Excellent so far, but #11 on the final quiz has an error in the answer choice and grading.

Very informative course, but the background noise was distracting e.g., horn honking.

Well structured. A bit simplistic for my level, but overall a good intro.

The course does give a good introduction to the subject matter and touches on points of which I was not aware. It would be nice if the course could provide a bit more in-depth knowledge and explanation of the different types technical writing with given examples but, for the most part, covers a wide range of information without becoming overwhelming. The host is difficult to understand (for me - native American English speaker) because of two reasons: 1) the accent is difficult for me to understand 2) the microphone quality was poor, and the volume was very low (had to keep my speaker volume at 55% - 80% to have a chance to hear what was being said). The host left his mouse pointer on the screen during recording, sometimes in places that covered up words. I found this unprofessional. Some of the test questions ask very specific questions in a detail that was not covered in the lessons. Fortunately, there are few examples of this. For the most part, the tests do a good job of covering the material presented in the lessons. Sometimes, some questions are repeated (and rephrased) to reinforce important points. I found this to refreshing. The practices quizzes are a bit on-the-nose in regard to which is the obvious answer (i.e. 3 of the 4 choices are obviously incorrect). Two of the lessons repeat: "Creating Online Help Systems and FAQs" and "API Documentation: Bridging the Gap . . . ". It seems as if the incorrect lesson for API Documentation was uploaded. Overall, I gained some helpful insight into the world of technical writing. I definitely learned some things (which is why I'm here!).

Very confused about why I got some of these quiz questions wrong. I wish I could attach images here. Then I could attach the results I received from my quiz. Here's an example of one question I got wrong, and I don't understand why: Which of the following is NOT a characteristic of effective technical documents? I chose "Incomplete Information". For some reason, this was not correct. This implies that Incomplete Information IS a characteristic of effective technical writing. Please explain why this is an incorrect answer. I have other examples of quiz answers that are confusing. Also, one of your questions showed an asterisk * beside the correct answer. Was the * a key for the developer to identify the correct answer? If so, it's sloppy work to leave it there, in my opinion, because it gives away the answer.

The course is fine as a general overview but is very repetitive in its content - the presenter's English is not always the best and the audio quality is really poor at times. There are also mistakes in the quiz. Questions are repeated several times over and one of the answers is just incorrect. For a course on accuracy and clarity this should be looked into.

The instructor has a mildly thick accent and speaks at a very low volume. I have my speakers at 100% and there is a lot of feedback in the videos so I can't listen with the headphones. Otherwise it's a great class education wise.

The lessons are good for complete beginners, but the first exam has a lot of repeat questions and some questions with more than one correct answer. This is not something you would expect from a "credible" course.

Good course, but the instructor's accent is very thick and unpleasant. And as a U.S. westerner, he is difficult to understand. Ultimately, I turned off the sound and read the transcript. :(

Because of the instructor's accent, it took a lot of work to listen to. The writing was not succinct, and I was disappointed. The course structure is good.

The content of the course is super great and helpful. However, the audio narration could be improved by removing background noise (in most videos).
