About the Course

Management consultants are paid well because they help executives to break down complex problems, make difficult decisions, and implement lasting change. Consultants know how to work smart and fast. Companies like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, EY, PWC, KPMG, and Accenture have trained thousands of consultants on useful skills, tools, methodologies. Taught by an ex-consultant from Deloitte, John Kim will give you a quick introduction to management consulting: • What do management consultants do? • What are the benefits of a consulting career? • How can you learn these consulting skills? • Why do clients hire management consultants? • What is an example of a consulting skill? This is the first course in the specialization on management consulting....

Loved how the instructor made this course relatable and gave honest feedback and anecdotal references. He was lively, his slides made sense and weren't too busy, and it was overall a great course.

It's just the beginning but John Kim has done an excellent job designing this consulting specialization. The course is well-structured, practical, and packed with insights that bridge theory and real-world application. The videos are engaging, the discussions are thought-provoking, and the frameworks provided are highly relevant to actual consulting work. One of the key takeaways for me was the emphasis on structured problem-solving and the importance of managing client relationships effectively—both critical skills for any consultant. The case studies and methodologies introduced were valuable, and I found myself applying many of these concepts immediately in my professional work. i look forward to completing the specialization!

Productive and simplified for the beginners . This definitely provided direction and initial strategy for people who are new to consultancy. It wold be of great help if some information are placed ( bit more rather ) for people who have or intend to join consulting after decent work experience .
