Overview
In this program, you will develop skills to create useful, usable and engaging digital experiences via user-centric methodologies.
As you advance through the program, you will learn to:
- Identify users’ problems, use methods and techniques to gather user insights, and identify opportunities to improve user experience with a product or service.
- Create personas, and design information architecture, task flows, and wireframes for different digital platforms.
- Analyse users' psychosocial and cognitive parameters and reactions to specific design features of products to enhance user engagement and adoption.

Course 1 of 4
Introduction to UX Design and HCI
Overview
In this course, you will learn the basics of UX design and HCI and user-centred design process and explore and analyse real-world use cases. To strengthen your understanding of UX design, a few good and bad UX examples will be discussed. You will then learn about the different job profiles in the design domain, and roles and responsibilities of a UX designer at various stages of their career.

User Research Methods and Practices
Overview
Understanding users’ concerns and addressing them are essential factors for designing usable, persuasive, and engaging UX products and services. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of user research methods and learn how to use user data and insights to identify opportunities to improve UX design.

Designing User Interfaces and User Interactions
Overview
In this course, you will learn to shape insights and findings from user research into a UX product. You will also learn to define problems in a concrete and concise manner. You will learn creative brainstorming and ideation techniques to conceptualise novel solutions, and how to build scenarios and extract functions via formalising the ideated concepts. You will also learn to shape the details of the product with the help of information architecture components, task flows, and wireframe design.

Usability Evaluation
Overview
This course focuses on how you can achieve enhanced user engagement and adoption by adopting usability principles. In this course, you will study users' psychosocial and cognitive parameters and learn about ways to capture their reactions to specific design features of products.
