I really enjoyed this class and feel like I learned a LOT. I especially enjoyed creating my pitch deck as we progressed through the course. This made it seem so much less overwhelming and enjoyable.

The Coursera course has taught me a lot about business and has done it in a great way. First of all, you are taught by real business owners and entrepreneurs, who use their own experiences to guide you through challenges and steps that you have to take. It also goes more into depth of the basics, such as marketing, stock, supply, and more. It teaches you the important things to look out for such as the correct timing and methods to do them. It also helps you layout and set up a proper business plan, so when you have the idea and mostly the other things like the name and slogan figured out, you're ready to go. It also constantly quizzes you in order to ensure that you are paying attention and get a general idea of each lesson. But, with every course, there are also flaws. Though Coursera does very well helping beginners start a business plan up, it could always do it better. I personally think that the course could definitely be improved in three aspects: organization, time management, and the interviews. First off, the course is well structured and gets the job done, but I feel that the assessments could be done less frequently to give the students more time to actually understand the lesson. I mainly think that the units could be better structured for each area covered and explored. Second, I think the videos and lessons could be way shorter to save time and could still get the main points across from the lesson. Though they teach you a lot, there were many moments where I felt that she was more like droning and expanding rather than just giving me the main information. Lastly, I feel that the interviews from the business owners were too short to actually have any takeaways from them, which I think was mainly due to how much time the lesson videos took up unnecessarily. I personally would like to hear more about their experiences and maybe a little less droning from the lesson videos to help me take away more points and learn better. All in all, the Coursera course definitely wasn't perfect, but it helped a lot and it got the job done.
