Abdihakim Abdi, Class of Fall 2021

"A smorgasbord of stimulating courses, drawing upon an eclectic array of trans-disciplinary subjects; taught by a highly qualified and distinguished team of professors and scholar practitioners, assisted by a motivated group of tutors, along with a peer group from multiple geographies, providing varied insights. This is what you can come to expect on enrolment in the MA(IRSS) degree from O.P. Jindal Global University on Coursera."

Yoahann Khursheed Banaji, Class of Spring 2023

"A stellar faculty, an extremely efficient programme team, and a multinational cohort consisting of career diplomats, journalists, businesspeople, military officials, and full-time students, are what one can expect while applying to the MAIRSS programme. The programme brings together the best features of online education which one cannot realistically expect from any offline programme. The curriculum offers comprehensive coverage of various aspects of International Relations ranging from Theory, Foreign Policy, Diplomatic Practice, Intelligence, Maritime Security, Negotiations, and Counterterrorism to Climate Change, Nuclear, Cyber, and Space Security. The faculty consists of academics, former diplomats, and military officials. MAIRSS students also have the opportunity to work remotely with various research centres at the Jindal School of International Affairs. I have benefitted greatly from the mentorship provided at the Centre for the Study of Global International Relations (CSGIR), which would not have been possible without the MAIRSS programme."

Raghav Dua, Class of Spring 2022, Delhi, India

"As a busy professional and a father of four, I was seeking a graduate program that offered flexibility, but was stimulating and educationally sound. The M.A. International Relations, Security, and Strategy program is structured in a way that allows me to fit it into my schedule, but the rigor is not lost. The instructors are passionate and informed, and the support from the school is excellent. I would encourage anybody looking for a high quality, cost-effective education to consider JGU and this program."

Michael Needham, Class of Fall 2021, New York, USA

"MA-IRSS program has been a truly transformative learning experience with a blend of online learning meeting the offline classroom standards of teaching, top class diplomat practitioners and academic stalwarts in the International relations coupled with enabling students to remain research oriented in the ever-evolving international theatre, curriculum design is top-notch with deep focus on the pedagogy and testing methods par with global schools. Continuous student support, global platform for networking, diversity of the cohort further the cause of being a successful IR professional."

Anand Krishnan, Class of Fall 2021

"I have enjoyed learning about various facets of International Security & Strategy over the last two years. The courses were topical and well-organized, and I really appreciated as someone from the United States learning about international relations from an angle that is seldom considered in our studies, the role and perspective of India and the Indo-Pacific. As an avid online learner, I was thrilled to find an economical degree program from a university that stands by its coursework and has a solid infrastructure due both to its offline campus and to its use of current internet-based tools. I would definitely work with OP Jindal University again in the future if our interests align."

Brad Fondak, Class of Fall 2021

"I would like to thank the MA IRSS Faculty and batch-mates for the wonderful experiences I had during my two years tenure with JGU. I wish it would have been longer actually as the learning, critical thinking process and strategic mind-set honing took off exponentially. It is now a life-style to analyse and evaluate choices while understanding why the world politics work the way it works!"

Bilal Malik, Class of Fall 2021

"JGU's MA International Relations and Strategic Studies reflects a rising India. As an Asian, I am attracted to the fast-rising Jindal Global University which provides the one of the best - value for money masters program. The curriculum uses Western academic theory seen from Indian lens. It is also refreshing to see teachers confident enough to differ from the thoughts of famous scholars. In the not so-distant future, some of our professors will be recognized as world thought leaders, while graduates will become change agents in their respective countries. Students will also experience regular multicultural interactions (develop lifelong friendships in different time / and writing skills will be honed with regularity. As a former diplomat transitioning to academia, my confidence was boosted enough to decide to undertake higher studies immediately after graduation. Happy learning!"

Bertrand Theodor Llaneza Santos, Class of Fall 2021
