this is one of the best course cause it start with all basic idea of web designing and give various type of knowledge in this particular subject, and practice work is also well till now.

I was glad to find a course that focused simply on the basics of Javascript. So many courses cover the three HTML, CSS, and JS, but don't give enough to really start working with Javascrip.
Thanks

Not as detailed as I would have liked. However, I did indeed learn a few things. In this case, it may have been because I'm a professional developer, just not a web developer. I sort of wanted more, but perhaps it's inappropriate for me to ask. Nevertheless, I do feel the course was rather week overall.

Very poor compared to the previous course (CSS3) of this package called Specialization. Not enough examples, not enough pear grades, almost nothing reading materials, not enough covered topics and instructors do not work on forums to clarify questions. I expected much more from this course.

It seemed to move way to quickly without a good explanation of how to use the script. I learned a lot in HTML and CSS under this proff but not a lot from this course. I continue to review it and look up other resources.

Coursera Courses have the lowest grade as far as MOOCs are concerned. a lot of friends and co-peers do conspire for peer graded assignments. And Coursera still ignores this problem.

Not for beginners unless ready to spend lots of extra hours watching the videos several times and surfing on the web to get additional information

No material to read, Javascript is way more than just 10 hours. even for a jump start.
this course needs more material and more practice.

Instructor does not start at basics and jumps straight into functions from day 1. There should be introduction for beginners.

I think starting with the DOM was a mistake. More fundamentals should have been covered. I didn't find this course useful

Could complete course. Course requires the Learner to post course material at an external website host of their choice. I did not feel comfortable posting course content outside of Coursera, & so could not complete the course. This was not explained in the Course Description page, the page even suggests that the course can be completed without additional software, but it is not true. Contacted Support many times. Received only disconcerted ambivalence from Coursera Support. Disappointing waste of time and effort, discouraging the experience of learning online. Also, contacted instructor, no reply. Systematic failure of Coursera, both in regard to maintaining reasonable expectations of course content, as well as followup through Coursera Support seeking resolution. Very disappointed.

If at all possible, stay away from this course and any course that involves Coursera peer reviewing. The Prof. is great, but this class is fairly worthless especially if you have any experience in any programming language. I completed all the work about a week ago, but can't finish it because a) there are not enough people to peer review and b) somebody marked me wrong on every problem (with no explanation). The University of Michigan should be embarrassed to have its name on this.

Needs updated and more structured lessons. It is all over the place and too outdated in many things, especially the text editor. Timelines need to be more succinct with the lessons. When what you should be learning before and at the beginning or prior to the final week and or tests or next modules is way out of order, it makes it difficult to follow.
