In this course, you'll continue your exploration of the ITIL framework by adhering to the seven guiding principles: focus on value, start where you are, progressively iterate with feedback, collaborate and promote visibility, think and work holistically, keep it simple and practical, and optimize and automate. You'll also be introduced to the ITIL service value system, including components like governance, the service value chain, and continual improvement.
This is the second course in a multi-course Specialization.
The seven ITIL® guiding principles provide the "how" for organizations who are adopting the ITIL service approach. By keeping these principles in mind, you can benefit from the trial-and-error experience of those who have gone before you. In this lesson, you will learn about each of the principles and how they can be applied to strive to ensure a holistic approach to service management.
