In 2-hours long project-based course, you will learn how to create a project plan on Google Sheets using color coded conditional formatting, set up a dynamic stakeholder communication plan with formulas, automate emails with Google Apps Script, utilize Apps Script third party libraries. Note: This course works best for learners who are based in the North America region. We’re currently working on providing the same experience in other regions.

In a video that plays in a split-screen with your work area, your instructor will walk you through these steps:

  1. Set up a project plan in Google Sheets using multiple sheets and conditional formatting

  2. Use formulas to create a stakeholder communication plan with dynamic rules, templates and conditions

  3. Write a Google Apps Script processing the Spreadsheet, creating a data structure

  4. Add Google Apps Script functions to automate emails

  5. Format a dynamic HTML message with Apps Script

  6. Create a structure of functions so to execute the core function in different modes based on triggers

  7. Set up Google Apps Script action-based and time-based triggers

  8. Use a Google Apps Script third-party library

  9. Test the Google Apps Script, manage authorizations
