Develop competencies in one of the world’s fastest-growing fields: computer vision. This program is a new and applied online master’s degree designed by leading experts at companies such as Huawei, Itseez3D, Intel, Harman, and Experience AI, as well as HSE scholars involved in advanced research within the computer vision field with publications in top-ranked journals.
Build on your undergraduate degree in IT, engineering, technology, or mathematics by becoming immersed in modern, dynamically developing, and universally demanded areas of computer vision. Upon completing this program, you’ll be equipped with the skills to assume positions such as a Computer Vision Software Engineer, Perception Engineer, 3D Perception/Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer, Computer Vision Testing Engineer, and Computer Vision Scientist.
This program will also help you develop deep specializations in a particular domain of computer science and switch from broader data scientist roles to roles that focus heavily on vision data. You’ll also have the opportunity to complete relevant projects that will significantly enhance your portfolio. In addition, you’ll form meaningful connections with professors and industry experts.
The Master of Computer Vision is designed by leading experts working at companies such as Huawei, Itseez3D, Intel, Harman, Experience AI, and HSE University scholars involved in advanced research in the field with publications in top ranked journals. You’ll work closely with these professors and build professional relationships in this fast-growing new industry.
You’ll be working on real-world projects offered by companies that are closely related to the program subject matter. You will contribute to the company's projects and build familiarity with the technological stack that the company uses. Based on the results of the work, your project may be recommended for presentation at professional conferences and for implementation in real company projects.
Lectures are organized into weekly modules, which you can absorb via video playback or interactive transcript. Pace yourself through online lectures before meeting with the teaching team and your classmates to dive deeper into the material.

Yes. To be admitted to the program, applicants must pass an entrance exam in Math and Computer Science basics.
Upon completion of the program, students receive a Master of Computer Vision degree from HSE University.
Students will have access to degree content on Coursera. Synchronous webinars will be held in two time slots to cover all time zones.
