You will also build an Expense Tracker console application, using it to understand how individual C# concepts come together in a complete and structured program. By the end of this course, you’ll be able to: - Write C# programs using variables, data types, operators, user input, decisions, loops, and pattern matching. - Create reusable and maintainable code using methods, debugging techniques, classes, encapsulation, inheritance, and interfaces. - Store, filter, group, and summarize application data using lists, dictionaries, lambda expressions, and LINQ. - Apply modern C# features including records, nullable reference types, exception handling, File I/O, and async and await. - Write unit tests using xUnit and manage source code using Git and GitHub. - Combine the concepts covered throughout the course to build a complete console-based Expense Tracker application. No prior programming experience is required. Basic familiarity with computers, files, and command-line tools may be helpful, but all required setup and development steps are demonstrated throughout the course.
