This course helps legal professionals produce writing that is precise, inclusive, and free of unintended bias. You'll learn to identify and avoid bias in your own drafting, understand how AI tools can either mitigate or perpetuate bias, and address anti-racism, perceptions of intelligence, and Eurocentric language structures. Practical modules cover inclusive and gender-neutral language and pronoun use, spotting subtle ad hominem attacks, and the cultural missteps attorneys most commonly make in legal writing.
