Build a browser-based loan calculator with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in this hands-on web development course. You'll work through a complete project, from planning the calculator's inputs and outputs to displaying loan payment results.

Start by exploring the project requirements, configuring Eclipse and your browser, and creating a structured HTML form styled with CSS. Then use JavaScript input validation to check loan amounts, interest rates, and repayment periods, including numeric values, permitted ranges, and field-specific error messages. Next, calculate monthly loan installments from the principal, monthly interest rate, and number of payments. Compute total payments and total interest, round the results, and display them in read-only fields. Finally, organize your calculation and validation code in an external JavaScript file connected to your HTML page. Designed for learners who want practical experience with JavaScript and web forms, this course brings interface design, validation, calculations, and integration together in one focused financial calculator project. By the end, you'll be able to build and connect the key components of a functional JavaScript loan calculator.

Understand the loan calculator requirements, configure Eclipse and the browser, and develop a structured HTML interface styled with CSS.
