EK
Straightforward, well-organized, fast-paced. I wish IBM offered courses for more languages, such as Python and Scala.
SA
thank you coursera for giving this chance to do these coruses

Some parts of the modules feel like there is information missing, or you should know more than you actually do. Otherwise very good and informative course.
FM
A very complete and dynamic course that develops learning how to operate GitHub, its history and the benefits for the community.
SK
Yes good course and clear lot of concept of Spring Framework with providing useful content.
RN
Easy to follow, good examples, and useful for learning design patterns and testing.
HS
Great topical introduction to Generative AI with a focus on software developers' role in Gen AI's expansion into the workplace. Enjoyable.
GR
Great course for any resource with Java programming skills to start there initial programming integration with Generative AI.
SG
Very thorough and helpful in explaining obvious and not so ovbious interview processes and expectations. Explainations from a real person also helped.

This Introductory course to Software Engineering was all-rounded. After taking this course, the information it delivers is well-rounded and fundamental for a beginner.
BB
It could be better especially in the 4th Module because it was less understandable and hard to complete

If you're into robot voice narration and 1980s style educational editing for laser disk productions, this flashback to the past is for you.
Incredibly boring course. Presented by TikTok voice. A complete waste of time.

The course content is Awesome & i got the overview of the software industry quickly. But they use robot voice. I tried hard to keep focused but it very difficult to keep up with the robot presenter. A real human could made this things more pleasant.

Very bad and very boring.
A great course by all standards, however, I didn't really enjoy the AI or computer generated voice that was reading the lecture notes. I'd prefer a real person took us through the course. I also enjoyed the industry people who gave their experiences in software development at the various work places
Extremely bloated and doesn't start with what's important. It feels like a song in a constant state of build-up but never gets to the point.
It's okay course if you have absolutely no idea about IT and programming at all. Otherwise, you end up listening to boring text read by machine reader. There's a reason why you need a real person in the course, it just makes it real, personal.
they are issuing certificate to coursera
not to the participant who enrolled the course
This course is the best introduction course in Coursera in terms of learning everything you need to know about Software Development. You will feel like a pro after completing this course.
This course is amazing it covers all fundamental concepts that are required for Software Engineering. This course helped me to master concepts and fundamentals. Thanks Coursera & IBM
I've never seen a course about anything, anywhere, as boring as this: It's basically a multiple hour powerpoint read out by a monotone generated voice. It's stultifying. Awful.
certificate without name is being issued
ai voice is hard to listen yo
This is a great course taught by industry experts.
I find the experts viewpoints very educating because it gives insight into how Software Engineers solve problems daily
This course is a must to enroll for beginners in software engineering. I really like the way they present the lecture, and the hands-on activity.
