Academic mentorship support:
- The MSIT degree incorporates three tiers of instructional support; faculty, academic mentors, and teaching assistants.
- You will get the opportunity to learn from renowned faculty members and subject matter experts through live sessions and pre-recorded videos.
- You will have access to flexible 1:1 or group guidance from academic mentors and teaching assistants to allow you to learn at your own pace. In these sessions, you will receive personalised support for specific problems, help with difficult concepts, and additional learning opportunities.
Networking opportunities:
- Industry networking: Frequent opportunities both virtually and during optional on-campus immersions to network with IIIT-H alumni working across different roles and industries. Opportunity to interact with industry experts during guest sessions/masterclasses, industry capstone project, and mentorship sessions.
- Peer networking: Regular opportunities to connect, collaborate, and network with a global learning community through Coursera’s Zoom and Slack integrations.
Online learning with on-campus experiences:
- Optional campus immersions for student meets, projects, workshops, and events such as Hackathons.
- Access to the on-campus library which includes a wide range of e-books, e-journals, and magazines.
- A digital student ID card will be issued to you. For those interested, a physical ID card can be issued on-campus.
Modular course structure
Lectures are organised into weekly modules, which can be accessed through video playback or interactive transcript. Pace yourself through online lectures before meeting with the teaching team and your classmates to dive deeper into the material.
Coursera Labs
Coursera Labs allows learners to seamlessly work on projects and assignments in a browser without any environment setup or software downloads — simply click a button to instantly work on programming assignments using today’s most in-demand tools like Jupyter Notebook, RStudio, VS Code, cloud software consoles, and almost any native desktop application.
