This course applies these core principles to one of the most pressing questions of our time: how will living things respond to a rapidly changing global climate? By the end of this course, you will be able to analyze the intricate dynamics within an ecosystem and evaluate how populations might adapt to significant environmental shifts.

In this course, we will take out our macroscopes and discover the natural forces that produced the world that we see today. We’ll see how animals interact with each other, with other animals, with plants, and with the physical world. We’ll see what factors affect population size and structure. And we’ll ask the question, how will the living organisms respond to our changing climate?
