I've taught as an adjunct professor at the undgrad and grad level and have sat through numerous courses on a variety of subjects over the years. So, I know how challenging it can be to create and deliver course material. The Northstar instructor for this class was absolutely incredible--I was blown away. His communication skills, which included humor and excellent explanation of the material, were outstanding. It was like watching an actor with top notch technical skills--he held your attention while explaining the introductory Snowflake material.

I don't know his name, but I do know that he is an excellent professional. The examples are very didactic and explanatory. One thing: I didn't understand why it says that it is a 10-hour course; it seems to take much longer if you do all the exercises step by step. I am infinitely grateful for everything I learned.. This is an excellent course—I learned a lot about Snowflake. The instructor explains concepts in simple terms and uses analogies that make the content engaging and enjoyable. It’s important to note that if you're using a free trial version of Snowflake, you may encounter some limitations, such as restricted access to Snowflake Cortex functions or the Auto-Ingest feature.

Excellent presentations from the Snowflake team, while all topics, subjects, particulars arranged very meticulously. In my observation, this may take somewhere from from 15 - 18 hours for one to complete, though it's mentioned as a 10-hrs course in the overview.

I really enjoyed this course—it's structured, practical, and does a great job of gradually building both foundational and advanced Snowflake skills. Module 1 gives a clear understanding of Snowflake’s architecture (warehouses, databases, stages), while Modules 2 and 3 dive into powerful features like Time Travel, Cloning, Snowpark, Snowpipe, and even building GenAI applications with Snowflake Cortex. The hands‑on exercises are realistic and show how Snowflake is used in modern data engineering, data science, and app‑development workflows. I especially appreciated the walkthrough of creating data pipelines, training machine learning models using Snowpark DataFrames, and deploying interactive apps with Streamlit. This was an amazing course! it was well put together and covers alot of ground. It was very easy to follow along, and this information was digestible. If you are looking for a course with lots of hands-on activity, then you will certainly be satisfied with this course. Also, the course instructor keeps you very engaged!

This is a solid introduction to Snowflake but it does feel it is the tip of the iceberg as there is much more to learn.
