I really enjoyed learning about viruses, which I had many questions about -- good articles & videos. I very much respect Dr. Robert DeSalle & the other authors/presenters. This is such an important issue & one that there is much ignorance & misinformation surrounding. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

My only concern was that there didn't appear to be any forum posts. Is it my old computer? Is it because I was taking it free? This is the first Coursera class that I've run into this (this is my 7th), in the past I've found them to be very interesting.

It clearly explained a lot of ideas, concepts and terms I became familiar with during the pandemic but I always remained uncertain of my true understanding of them. Now i genuinely feel I do have a true understanding, but this has not sated my curiosity but instead energised it to learn more. Thank you.

A course that covers well the "technical" aspects of viruses (RNA, DNA, shape, single-strand etc etc), the societal impacts of and response to a virus outbreak and what could/should (but doubtless won't) be done to prevent or cope with the next potential pandemic..

I am very thankful for your fruitful knowledge that you give me in this virology course.

Would have prefered more video-based lectures as it increases interest and concentration about the topic. Moreover, it makes us feel as if we are directly involved with the professor.

Los subtitulos tienen problemas de sincronización, de gramatica y de sintaxis; los videos tambien tienen ese problema.

There's lots of reading, but it's interesting, good information. I found some sections to be more fascinating/informational than others, so some bits were tough to work through. I believe this will vary from person to person.
