I especially enjoyed applying what I learned by creating a small app for my environmental initiative, Tree Bank. Highly recommended for anyone starting their journey with AI on Coursera.

This course was great because building an app in AI Studio was mind blowing BUT don't waste your time building anything too in depth because the app won't publish at all. The publish feature hasn't worked since February 2026. I feel it was in poor taste to show us a tool that doesn't even deliver a final product we can add to our AI portfolio. The web version with sharable link is glitchy.

The Gemini Canvas feature allowed me to create three automation applications using simple prompts, and the entire experience felt smooth and seamless. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to explore this capability, as it showed me how intuitive and empowering application development can be. It also inspired me to see the wider potential of using similar automation solutions across other business divisions within the company. While I was excited about the possibilities, I understand and respect my leaders’ guidance not to use the created applications, as Google Gemini is not a preferred vendor and there are valid concerns around protecting internal customer information. Despite this limitation, the experience opened my mind to the value of automation and strengthened my enthusiasm for exploring approved and secure alternatives moving forward.

Highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to build their knowledge and expertise of Google AI. The course is broken down into easy to understand modules with labs guided by Google instructors. Really enjoyed the whole learning experience and having certificates uploaded to Linkedin once completed.

Gemini, NotebookLMに慣れ親しんでいるのであれば特に難しい点はありません。AI Studioでのアプリ作成もコーディングは一切不要です。集中してやれば２日程度で修了できると思います。講師が実演してくれるGeminiのプロンプトの書き方は、先に手順をGeminiに出力させてからソース資料を渡すようにしているなど、参考になる部分がありました。なお、現時点ではラボの説明動画は英語のみで日本語字幕はありません。翻訳アプリが手元にあると安心です。
