Very good. I gave it 4 ratings because I can't afford Infosec Skill account. This was not disclosed in the course description. Please disclose this so people can decide.

In this course, we take a look at what an actual operating system is. People often confuse operating systems with browsers and many other things. We take a look at Windows versus Linux versus MacOS and discuss how these operating systems evolved. We also get into some technical detail about the components that make up an operating system.

How is this even called a course on coursera? Really!
Helped me to know what in my knowledge background goes towards InfoSec.

Good
good
wow
I had issues in finding the Linux skills shown in this course. There was a similar one available but it was different so not compatible with the coursera video. This made the module about Linux skills really difficult to follow and to absorb the information.
good
I didn't like this course. A few words about operating systems and basic commands, this is not information for future cyber security specialists, but for housewives who have just seen a computer. I would say that it's part of one module within the course, like an introduction. But it's definitely not a full course. There is also advertising of its external courses. Although after completing the last course in this specialization it becomes clear that all this is done simply as an advertisement for external courses from this author and nothing more.
This course is just a big ad for their own cybersecurity course. Lots of this information could be easily and better explained with simple google searches. The only section that has good information is the Operating Systems Foundations. Once getting into the separate command line foundations, he quickly doesn't explain what he is doing well and the commands displayed are very basic so it isn't worthwhile to do this course. He keeps pushing to use InfoSec Skills instead of learning off of coursera, as well as cutting off his own videos.
