Learn how modern software developers collaborate across the world without messing up each other's code. You will look at the different version control systems and how to create an effective software development workflow. You will be introduced to some of the most commonly used Linux commands that you can use to work with files on your hard drive and create powerful workflows that will automate your work, saving you time and effort. Finally, you will see how Git can be used in software development projects to manage team files. And you will create a repository that can manage code revisions.

It was really good since it includes bash basics as a part of the Backend developer path. Basics are given in an exciting way and the course included good hands-on skills.

It covers Git in a practical and beginner-friendly way. A few concepts could be organized a little more clearly, but overall it's a valuable and accessible learning resource.

Great, but ultimately incomplete information; not everything that was taught was explained. The teaching style felt out of order to me; demonstration before instruction.

This course allowed me to gain insight, into a part of the programming profession that I was not even aware of.I highly recommend completing this course and even revisiting it periodically.

It had a great walkthrough of the software development and version control workflow, although the bash section of the course was not up to par and has room for improvement.

The course itself was very good. Unfortunately this topic using Git is from the dark ages and is not UC/UI compliant. A simple repetitive process is made needlessly complex.

Every aspiring Software Engineer should take this course. Working on a team is an essential skill every developer must hone. One of the best courses I've taken so far in any learning platform!

I have been using git and GitHub for many years, but I was still learning from this course. I would have enjoyed this course years ago, when I started out with Version Control!

It is introductory course, but it shouldn't be so easy. Laboratories and quizes can be done within 5 minutes although it says you need 1h. You should make those more difficult

Great course. But the repositories link provided for week-3 and week-4 are not working. Please solve these issues asap. Otherwise, all other contents are ok. Really enjoyable course.
