I don't think I should have to wait on a peer reviewed project for a final grade in this class.
I should not be held back in progress, time, or money because I have to wait for peers to review assignment. It's also very confusing to find where and how to review this assignment for peers.
I was not a fan of the peer review. I’ve spent time and money on this course and that is not acceptable as a form of completion.

This course has been deeply inspiring through its interdisciplinary approach, bridging philosophy and the physical sciences—an approach that aligns perfectly with SKUN’s 2024–2034 vision to revolutionize human understanding of the cosmos. Philosophical reflection applied to cosmology—particularly the anthropic principle and the multiverse hypothesis—is, in my view, essential to push the epistemic boundaries of modern science while addressing its ethical implications, notably in fields such as artificial intelligence and space exploration. I wish to express my sincere gratitude to the teaching team for the intellectual openness and academic excellence of this program. This course provides an invaluable platform for fostering dialogue between philosophy and science, and for building a more inclusive, critical, and innovative scientific community. The Talent Acquisition course gave me a holistic understanding of how to strategically approach the process of attracting talent. During the training, I learned about the important stages of recruitment - from the formation of the need for staff to the successful adaptation of the candidate in the company. Particularly useful were the topics dedicated to the creation of an inclusive recruitment process, the formation of an EVP (value proposition for an employee) and the analysis of accessibility, which helps to determine how fairly the company represents different protected classes in the recruitment process. This taught me to look at the recruitment process not only as finding the "right person", but as building a fair and trusting candidate-centric process. The practical context was also very valuable — we analyzed cases, worked with data on staff engagement, assessed legal risks in the hiring process, and learned how to build effective sources for finding candidates. The course formed my strategic vision of the Talent Acquisition function as a key element of the company's success. Now I clearly understand how important it is to work ahead: to anticipate needs, attract the right audience, build a strong employer brand and form fair and transparent terms of cooperation.
The Talent Acquisition course was a truly insightful and practical learning experience. Each module was thoughtfully designed to build core HR capabilities—starting from crafting job descriptions, developing structured interview questions, and culminating in creating a comprehensive onboarding program. The course stands out for its clarity, structure, and real-world relevance. It doesn’t just focus on theoretical concepts but dives deep into the strategic elements that make talent acquisition effective and employee-focused. The assignments were engaging and encouraged practical application of concepts, making it easy to connect the learning with real organizational needs. What I appreciated most was the emphasis on inclusivity, employer branding, and candidate experience, all of which are critical in today’s evolving workplace. The lessons on sourcing strategies, negotiation, and onboarding provided valuable tools that are immediately actionable in any HR role. Overall, this course has been a great value and highly relevant for anyone looking to build or strengthen their expertise in recruitment and human capital management. A big thank you to the instructors for delivering such a high-quality learning experience!
I am happy to announce that I have successfully completed the Talent Management Course certified by HRCI from Coursera!!! I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Brad Boyson, GPHR, and Michelle Alvarado for their exceptional guidance and expertise throughout the course. Their profound knowledge and extensive experience in the field of talent management have undoubtedly enriched my learning journey. The course provided comprehensive insights into various aspects of talent management, equipping me with valuable skills and strategies to excel in this field. From forecasting workforce needs to sourcing and recruiting talented candidates, this course covered it all. I gained a deeper understanding of best practices for selecting, recruiting, and onboarding talent. The knowledge acquired during this course will undoubtedly contribute to my professional growth and success. I am grateful to #HRCI and #coursera for offering this exceptional course and providing professionals like me with the opportunity to enhance our competencies in the ever-evolving field of human resources.
The Talent Acquisition course is incredibly practical and aligns well with real-world practices. It doesn’t just focus on theories but dives into actionable strategies that are directly applicable to the current job market. For example, the exercises on creating job descriptions, formulating interview questions, and designing onboarding programs feel like tasks you’d actually do in a professional setting. The course also emphasizes important trends like inclusive recruitment and employee retention, which are critical in today’s workplace. Overall, it’s a valuable resource for anyone looking to understand talent acquisition in a hands-on, realistic way.
Loved the course! It is simple to follow along with. For the final course project assignment, you just plug in the answers to the template they give you, so there is no guessing game on the format. The only thing that I would change is for them to offer a longer version of the course, and by that, I mean to have the course content spread out over an additional two weeks to the already existing 4 weeks. For people like myself, I like to take notes to help retain what I've learned and that makes watching the course videos longer, and in turn, finishing the course longer.
The Talent Acquisition course is very informative. It is well coordinated and easy to follow along. The course material provided is concise and clear. The videos and reading materials are well presented and not boring. The quizzes at the end of each topic are helpful and helped me to retain the information learnt. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is interested and new to HR or needs a refresher. I am looking forward to completing the other courses in the HRCI certification.
I enjoyed this course. However, I disliked having to use Google Docs for written assignments and having to wait for my certification of completion until someone peer-graded my assignment. I would omit that for future classes. The purpose of doing this through Coursera was to move at my own pace and complete on my own time as slowly/quickly as I wanted. That being said, I look forward to the other classes for the HRCI. I am learning a lot of wonderful information. :)
